SHAKTILYN 

An avid photographer since 2009.  I believe beauty can be found no matter where you are, and I’m partial to macro photography because it reveals a world the eye can’t normally see.  I also love to “paint with photos.”  Using the lights, colors and textures of the real world, I transform my photos into art on canvas. The resulting work generally bears no resemblance to the original photo.  To create this mixed media art, I employ a combination of photo manipulation, hand painting, applied textures and blending techniques across multiple layers. I love transforming what is, into what can be, and I hope you enjoy my work and love what you see."
